Hemingway Place

Hemingway Place – A Quiet Gated Enclave of Luxury Homes

David Bruce & Co., now entering the Naples, Florida market, is pleased to introduce Hemingway Place – a quiet gated enclave of luxury homes just a few minutes from downtown Naples, and a bike ride to the white sand beaches of the Gulf.

Naples is a subtropical destination nestled among the sun drenched beaches and calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Known for world class shopping, dining, and many challenging golf courses, Naples is the crown jewel of Southwest Florida, yet steps away from island seclusion or the untamed wilderness of the Everglades.

Traditional Neighborhood Design Concept

Hemingway Place is based upon a Traditional Neighborhood Design (TND) concept. This concept focuses on bringing a community feel to the residential home development, where there exists order and balance. It is a step back in time to the way communities and streets were once planned; where traditional features such as front porches, rear garages, and small privacy areas helped to invite a sense of community and quaintness.

Recently, a trend has occurred that has brought this concept to the leading edge in community design. Some of the most highly regarded communities in United States have utilized a TND format. Hemingway Place is one of the first communities in Southwest Florida to do the same.

Architectural Blend of Timeless Designs

The architectural styles are a blend of timeless designs such as authentic French and British Colonial or Low Country with an old Florida feel, and a fresh, sub-tropical aesthetic that appeals to Naples residents.

The community will have a strong focus on classical architectural proportions, massing, details and correctness. This is the only common thread that has been used in architecture for almost 2,500 years and is the single most important element in capturing the architectural styles from the past.

Working in Harmony with the Surroundings

Working in harmony with the natural foliage that exists in Hemingway is very important to achieving the desired setting. The plan for Hemingway Place preserves the aesthetics of the site by retaining many of the large and mature trees that exist here.

As Hemingway Place was developed, close attention was given to road and home elevations, storm-water management, and building techniques. Residences of the community will be obliged to use stem-wall construction, as one means to assist in this site preservation process. Installation of paver streetscapes, a classic gatehouse, aged brick and iron fence walls, and period site lighting, all add to the charm of the community.

Hemingway Place is a truly unique community and one that will grow in value and appeal for years to come. We welcome you to be a part of it.
